The Ox Cart is Rolling!
March 2005
Ox Cart Trails Historical Society members have been taking the colder
weeks off from working in the museum. However, some of the members did
prime and paint siding that was placed on the west side of the museum.
Plans are to continue with this project until done. A painting day will
be set up to paint the entire outside when it warms up some. Anyone is
welcome to help with this project – we will need someone to grill
some hamburgers for the workers.
At this time the Society is planning a Potato Bake for the public on Saturday,
March 12. The proceeds from this benefit will help with the residing of
the museum.
Our web site has information and pictures from our previous projects.
Be sure to check this out on www.oxcarttrails.net
As soon as the weather cooperates we will be in the museum to set up some
new displays and continue our cataloging project. Any time you see any
activity at the museum, you are welcome to stop by for a visit or help
out if you wish.
Come and help keep the Ox Cart rolling! The museum is open upon request
by calling one of the officers. We will be happy to show off our displays
of interesting photos, histories, and memorabilia from the Drayton area.
